| The small village of Wiston is situated amongst the picturesque surroundings of the South Downs, overlooked by Chanctonbury Ring. The village is very spread out but the Post Office and Tea Rooms are regarded as the social centre of Wiston. Hidden behind the tea rooms is the delightful Wiston Granary Holiday Cottage. Nearby is St Mary's House and Bramber Castle. Also just a few miles down the road is the Beautiful town of Steyning, which is famous for its country festivals such as the "Steyning Country Fayre". This is also good walking country, either on the flat or on the Downs, with the east/west South Downs Way running nearby. |
